Our skilled contractors can help prepare sites, build roads, cut building pads (for anything including houses, shopping centres and car parks) and excavate and remove any unwanted fill.

We can install Telstra and other underground conduits and trenching as well as rock breaking. Features such as boulder retaining walls can also be constructed.

Somerset Construction & Civil have every piece of equipment required to complete our work including excavators, tip trucks, bobcat/positrack, rollers, water truck, pipe lasers & GPS equipment along with all attachments required to complete any task.

Methods

Somerset Construction & Civil will meet these objectives by ensuring:

• All employees, contractors and subcontractors must have obtained certification before operating machinery and equipment and hold a Work Safely in the Construction Industry White Card.
• The work team is totally committed to a safe and healthy work environment through continuous consultation, communication and involvement in decision making relating to work place health & safety programs.
• Any incidents are to be immediately reported to a supervisor, investigated and documented in the provided Somerset Construction & Civil safety file.
• The provision of Material Safety Data sheets, work place health & safety plan & safe work method statements to all employees, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders.
